Jamie Ibson, a talented Canadian author from the frozen wastelands of Canuckistan, where moose, bears, and geese vie for supremacy among hockey rinks, igloos, and Tim Hortons, began his journey in writing after a diverse background. After joining the Canadian army reserves in high school, he served as a peacekeeper in Bosnia for half of 2001 and returned home shortly after 9/11, carrying a profound sense of foreboding.
Upon graduating college, he embarked on a career in law enforcement, working on the left coast from 2007 to 2021. He retired from law enforcement in early 2021 to pursue his passion for fiction writing full time in the picturesque Maritimes.
Jamie has been charting his own course in the world of writing, drawing inspiration from numerous writer friends who have been excellent role models, mentors, and occasionally, cautionary tales. He is happily married to the lovely Michelle, and together they share their home with cats.
